Payment
We accept cash, check, and credit card for office visits and supplements. Payments are due in full at the time of service and purchase. We do not take insurance cards or bill insurance in our office. For your convenience, we will provide you with a “superbill” for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement at the time of service. We do take FSA (flexible spending accounts) and HSA (health savings accounts) for payment.
Supplements
During the course of your care we may recommend certain natural medicines. You have the option to purchase these supplements at our office or in our online pharmacy Payment for supplements is always due at the time of service. Supplements are nonrefundable unless they are unopened and returned within 30 days of purchase. For refills of supplements, we request 24-hour notice.
Laboratory Testing
During the course of your care we may recommend laboratory testing. These are an additional charge outside of appointment visit fees. Some laboratory testing may be billable through your insurance. Please talk to your naturopathic doctor about testing fees and insurance billing options.
Cancellations
We require a minimum of 48 hours cancellation notice for cancelling any appointment Monday-Friday. For non-emergency late cancellations you may be charged a fee of $50. Unlike other medical offices who schedule 2 or 3 patients in the same time slot, at Boulder Natural Health, your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. We try our best to help you avoid cancellation fees by using an email reminder system, but please understand that remembering your appointment is your responsibility.
